Joel Cook - Floridian Landscape &
Wildlife Hands-On Workshop

faux expo

Joel Cook's background in gallery art combined with his experiences as a decorative muralist work together to enable him to create large, beautiful compositions with wonderful color harmonies and realistic features. In this all-day, hands-on class, he'll be conveying to students how to develop a scene, block it in and build it out to completion in a single day. The Floridian landscape and wildlife paintings have maintained their appeal as timeless scenes, because they offer the serene flora, fauna and water elements that warm a room while opening it to nature. Be sure to take this opportunity to study with an artist who can not only help you become a better painter, but can save you time on jobs in the process. Joel's class at the Faux Expo last year was nothing short of amazing. Students walked away with gorgeous panels - even those who were making their first attempt at landscapes.

All paints and canvas as well as some brushes will be provided to the class, however, students are encouraged to bring standard brushes to avoid sharing. All students need to be checked-in and ready for class by 8:30am. Class will adjourn by 5pm to allow for evening festivities. Class tuition for this all-day, hands-on workshop is $310/student. Expo registration must be completed prior to confirmation of classes.
